5th and 6th Grade

Ruth Bernau

I am excited to be a part of the Trinity community and to share God’s love and grace with the students here at Trinity Lutheran School. I grew up in Courtland, MN, and I was blessed to attend a Lutheran school from preschool through eighth grade. After attending a public high school, I felt the pull to be a Lutheran school teacher and to help students be rooted in a firm foundation built on Christ.

I attended Concordia University Wisconsin where I graduated in December 2010 with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a social studies minor. I taught for four years in a 3rd-5th grade classroom (and I also taught various 3rd-8th grade classes) at St. Paul Lutheran School in Luxemburg, Wisconsin before accepting a call in 2015 to teach here at Trinity Lutheran School in St. Francis.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my nieces and nephew. I also enjoy geocaching, scrapbooking, and baking.
